Ruby Leigh is an artist born and raised in Newcastle Upon Tyne, in a queer and gender-non conforming household. Whilst managing chronic illness and being bedbound as a teenager, Ruby found solace and ways of communication through art and writing. Through these experiences of illness and being surrounded by the divine feminine energy, Ruby's art derives themes of eco-feminism, cruel and grotesque imagery intertwined with personal writing and humor regarding the uncanny. As a recent graduate in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art (UAL), she is working towards a career in Art Psychotherapy.
